Our Organic Green Compost can restore vitality to depleted soil and add structure, which then further helps the soil to hold more nutrients.
This compost is very versatile as it can also be used as a mulch, for planting pots or containers, as topsoil when mixed with sand and for agricultural purposes as it can add structure to land, great for gardening.

How and when to use Organic Green Compost
Our Organic Green Compost is multi-purpose and can be used all year round, however, try to evade administering to frozen/snow-covered/ waterlogged ground.
Helping to minimise soil compaction is a great tip, you can do this by taking the weather and soil conditions into consideration at the time of application. It is best to administer organic green compost at maximum crop uptake which is generally in the late winter/spring

I’ve used this compost to give my new grapevine and boost, I have to say it looks nice and dark and not full of dross or full of timber fibers like so many other composts I’ve tried since going peat free. I’m rally looking forward to doing some trials against other composts this year. See how I get on at http://www.manVslug.uk
